\n\tPulleys\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

The pulleys are mechanical parts with the main function of transmitting or guiding a movement to other mechanical organs; they consist of a hole where a pin is housed to hold the piece, a central body, and the outer part that in place of the teeth, hosts a cavity (or more) on which a belt or cable is mounted, which generates by friction a movement and the transmission of a force. In some cases, the external diameter is left flat or rounded. In addition, there are pulleys with the sole function of guiding the movement, on the groove cut into its outer diameter, runs the cable carrying the movement of the system; in this case, then, the pulley has the sole function of guiding the movement of the cable.
