Thanks to the established collaboration with Makino, we are excited to announce that the new production line is now running at full capacity at Rimec Group, and this has been achieved in remarkably short time.

The state-of-the-art, next-generation multi-pallet automated system, recently introduced into the company, enables the connection of up to 20-24 pallets and 4 machines running in parallel, significantly improving operational efficiency. The line integrates seamlessly with the Makino A61 already in place at Rimec, which has been synchronized with the new horizontal machining center, custom-designed to meet the specific needs of the facility and its production processes.

At the heart of the system is the MAS-A5 software, which manages and monitors the production cells, stores and handles all ISO programs, and collects data on tool life for each loaded program. Thanks to this advanced solution, production management is fully automated, and the operator can coordinate orders highly effectively, thanks to automation that handles tool changes, placements, batches, and production times.

This new line allows Rimec Group to increase its production capacity, further optimizing processes and meeting the increasingly demanding needs of the market.

A special thanks goes to Makino’s Italian branch, which supported Rimec Group during the delicate start-up phase and training of our staff, providing the usual professional support and availability.

For years, Rimec has been acquiring cutting-edge machines, and three Makino machines have already been added to complete one of the most comprehensive and sophisticated machine fleets in the industry.
