2003

The company Rimec Group srl was founded by Nerio Righi and some colleagues who believed in a joint project of development of a mechanical company.

2005

Rimec Group acquires the warehouse that is now the registered office of the company, together with the first machines and the leadership of Nerio Righi begins its journey to take a recognizable identity in the market of precision mechanical components.

2006-2008

Rimec Group acquires the first lathes and grinding machines, thanks to which it starts producing mechanical machining for motorcycle forks. Some important orders arrive, thanks to which Rimec Group can invest in machines and technical resources, at the same time starting a careful commercial strategy aimed at covering as many industrial sectors as possible and acquiring important market shares.

2010

2010 represents an important stage in the company’s history: Rimec Group launches on the market the complete supply of both parts and groups, thus providing the customer with the complete product - complete processing and treatments (cementation, hardening,...) any type of coating (nickel, chrome, paint,...) - thanks to a coherent machine park (bar machines, rectifiers with and without centres, manned or not). The market responds positively and Rimec acquires a significant market share and prestigious orders.

2011

Rimec Group obtains the Quality certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001, thanks to which it becomes a qualified and authoritative supplier for the most important national and international industrial groups. A process towards total quality and continuous improvement that continues to this day.

2016

Rimec Group obtains the Quality Certification for Environmental Management according to UNI EN ISO 14001 Standard to measure and improve its environmental impact; Rimec considers the protection and preservation of the environment as an essential objective to be achieved and constantly improved.

2010-2020

In this decade, Rimec Group continues its rise on the market and thanks to the achievement of important goals in terms of turnover, invests large sums of money in a more sophisticated and efficient machine park (including two horizontal Makino machining centers) and human resources trained properly, creating a highly efficient production process, so as to gain the trust of important international customers. The purchase of the Tacchella external grinding machine with automatic robot loading, but above all an effective reorganisation of the production plant, divided into processing departments, The expansion of the plant and warehouse, and the addition of an assembly department.

2020

Despite the sanitary emergency caused by the pandemic, Rimec Group is making major investments at the production site to carry out bar work; the bar turning department have allowed Rimec to obtain a high production efficiency and to be able to supply thousands of chain tensioner parts with an impeccable level of quality to the most important international players.

2022

In terms of generational change, an important internal reorganisation of the company is underway, both in terms of production and management.

Ottavio Palmerini, takes over as Chairman of the Board of Rimec Group. Thanks to forward-looking strategies, the company continues to increase its turnover, resources and number of parts produced with a quality level appreciated by the international market.

2024

Rimec Group purchases a new MAKINO horizontal machining centre with loading capacity of up to 20 pallets, which will be connected to an existing Makino A61, and will significantly increase the company’s production capacity, ensuring the consolidation and increase of its presence as a qualified supplier to the most important customers.

Rimec Group acquires all the shares of PTA Assemblaggi - a company active in the garage equipment sector -, which has thus changed its name to PTA Assemblaggi srl with sole shareholder.
